DATE: Georgian Regency Period, c.1810

A spectacular Georgian Regency harlequin pendant/brooch crafted as a peacock. The fine goldwork is exceptional, particularly the fanned tail which is made up of cannetille ornamentation as well as graduated gold balls, and set with various colours of sapphire. It's high carat gold - tests around 15k - and dates from the early 19th century, circa 1810.
